This wonderful hand finished violin outfit is fantastic for all abilities as it is highly versatile though it is recommended for intermediate level violinists. A beautiful instrument  to play, with a wonderful tone.  It has a lovely sweet warm sound, with plenty of volume. A Wittner type tailpiece, with gold adjusters, complements a superbly varnished body. This instrument is considerably better both performance wise and in features than any comparable Student instrument, and will enable players to progress farther than with the normal Student violins. Would have cost £179 when new.

At the moment it is fitted with steel strings, which regrettably do not allow the instrument to perform to the best of its ability; however we’ve bought a new set of Thomastik Dominants. These are still in their packaging and are included in the sale. The stickers on the fingerboard can be removed, if you wish. This is not a new violin; it has been played, but is in very good condition. The bow is in used condition but still ok to use. You might like to re-hair it in the future. We are only selling the violin as our son has decided to concentrate on his piano playing.

The Violin will be posted in its protective case or can be collected from St.Neots in Cambridgeshire.
