J T L Violin circa 1900

The violin is a full sized J.T.L  circa 1900.This is a really lovely sounding violin and has served me well through all my grades when I was a teenager. The inside says its a Stradivarius copy dated 1721. It is 60cm long and 21cm wide. It comes with a french bow branded Vuillaume (73 cm long), a good quality Hiscox Liteflite violin case and two shoulder rests.

These were originally purchased by myself from Lawrence Lynch Violins in Kidderminster in 1995. The original receipt of purchase and valuation document for insurance purposes at that time comes with the violin and bow. The valuation document confirms that the violin is a JTL and the bow a Vuillaume. In 2003, some restorative work was carried out to the violin by Turner Violins in Birmingham ready for sale. This included wok to the following: varnish, sound post, bridge, tail piece and new strings. A copy of the invoice comes with the violin.
