We bought the violin as second-hand last year at Hieber Lindberg in Munich where it had a complete setup (bridge, sound post, strings) because it sounded much better than new violins above its price. Has less than a year of use and it is in excellent condition (apart from the half millimetre dent seen in the picture that was already there when we bought it), a beautiful tone for the price and excellent playability, but kids grow fast and our daughter in now moving to a full size.
The violin is a 3/4 size Samuel Eastman VL100 manufactured in 2007, entirely hand-carved from solid tonewoods. Spruce top and maple back, ribs and scroll, with solid ebony fittings and durable amber-brown varnish. Includes bow and case. A very good violin outfit for a beginer to intermediate student.
You can (and should) try the violin before buying. No returns accepted.
