Hand made full size violin by Jay Haide

For sale: full sized hand made Jay Haide violin ' A L'Ancienne'  a with distressed finish to resemble an antique instrument. Fitted with quality boxwood pegs,endpin,tailpiece and. Flesch chinrest. Boxwood tailpiece handmade by Bois D'Harmonie with four integral fine tuners making changing strings hassle-free. Fitted with Pirastro Obligato strings except for the E string - can't remember what that is !! An easy to play, warm, full sounding instrument that also projects.( Visit the Jay Haide website for more information.) Jay haide instruments have been compared with instruments two or three times the price. Suitable for all levels and all types of music. Sadly there is some minor damage to the varnish; i got carried away one Hallwe'en  playing for our Morris side and stuck glow-in-the-dark bat stickerson the front. Unfortunately some of the varnish was damaged when i removed them. The sound is not affected and the damaged can only be seen up close - see pictures 3 and 4. This violin has been lightly played for 5 years.
