Old English Violin Labelled

This is an Old English full size Violin

It has a label that reads "Daniel Parker, London, Fecit 1740" although i have been reliably informed by a high profile auctioneers that the violin was made by Peter Walmsley between 1760 and 1770 in London. 

I have owned and played professionally on this violin for about 5 years, It has a lovely deep rich tone with a very clear bell like high end.

As you can imagine for an instrument of this age there are numerous repairs all over the body but no open cracks or any work of any kind is needed to start playing this violin.

the violin is professionally set up and plays beautifully, i have it insured for £2000, it truly is a lovely instrument and i will be sad to see it go, but needs must hence £1500 ONO....

It will be sold with its old wooden coffin case that i bought the violin in.
